Link Vostok’s Mississippi Volga Festival at BLB!

Link Vostok Artists at the Bryant Lake Bowl Theater. An evening of solos, short works, exchanges by artists from Russia, Hungary, Germany, and the Twin Cities.
Performers: Ferenc Feher and Judit Simon (Budapest, Hungary), Dimitry Cheglakov (Moscow, Russia), Till Pohlmann (Berlin, Germany), Laurie Van Wieren, Erin Thompson, Judith Howard and guest artists (Twin Cities). The artists will have the opportunity to show new work, to experiment, and collaborate with each other. There will be a discussion with the audience following every work.
“Linked Studies” is a part of Mississippi Volga Festival, a cross cultural international arts exchange featuring dance performance, artistic collaborations, workshops, residencies, and community engagement. The festival runs October 1 -14, 2009 and includes performances at Open Eye Figure Theater on October 9th and 10th.
