*SOLD OUT* A Semicentennial Celebration Featuring The Minneapolis Uranium Club Band

  • Bryant Lake Bowl 810 W Lake St Minneapolis United States (map)

The Minneapolis Uranium Club Band, the sulphureous quartet, is total, nervous, seditious, terribly romantic, and it is with pleasure both guilty and all in all undisguised that we recognize with delight that they still have “more of that mid-grade stuff.” It’s like the Sex Pistols misfiring. Welcome back, Listener!

One of Minneapolis’s most successful and long-lived avant-garde artists, Adam Marx emerged relatively unsullied from the mire of mid-Sixties British psychedelic music as an early experimenter with outer space concepts. He brings dazzling sonic wizardry as The Arctic Universe.

Skoal Kodiak was the house band for the fall out winter after prom disco. Brady and Freddy return as Jai-Alai to bring contorted jams to get your freak all over.

Pussytoes include members of Flavor Crystals, Luke's Angels, and Smattering. Much like the wildflowers they are named for, the band will thrive when exposed to full sunlight so don't shade them.

Scott Puhl will be DJing when the doors open and in-between bands!

Tickets are $10 in advance/ $12 at the door

Doors are at 8:00 PM, come eat and drink in the theater before the show!
