A cabaret of true stories, semi-malevolent hauntings, and silly spectres, GHOST is Virginia Twins’ latest devised production. The show features a series of ghost stories told in a variety of ways, including live music, dance, mime, and experimental storytelling. Funny, bright, and at times nostalgic, this piece invites audiences to experience the “liminal, in-between identities” of ghosts, and to ruminate on what a ghost may be. Described as “Humorous, surprising, and moving”, audiences have felt “Mooooooooved and joyous!” watching GHOST. As the year begins and the light starts filtering in, what are the ghosts telling you?
Virginia Twins is a Twin Cities-based collaborative performance company that emphasizes play and experimentation in rehearsal and performance. We love to create performances, workshops, and evening-length immersive experiences using movement improvisation, devised theater, live storytelling, and humor to practice looking at the world in a slightly different way. The current group features Sasha Blinnikova, Artemis Brown, and Ben Capp ...and at least 7-28 ghosts.
