10:00 pm / Doors open at 9:30pm

Tickets: $10/$8 in advance

Every month a different local musician performs their original music. Between songs, a group of local improvisers, The Local Music Scene, improvises comedic scenes inspired by the lyrics. Hosted by Philip Simondet. January’s guest: The Alein’ Whalers.

The Alein’ Whalers have been on the Twin Cities music scene since 2014 and they have developed their own style of folk fusion including hints of blues, country, and rock. Their repertoire consists of sea shanties and whaling ballads, traditional session instrumentals, and even some modern covers. With their eclectic combination of instruments and variety of vocals they create a full, engaging sound that will have you on the edge of your seat and leave you wanting more.
