While the open mic is free, we encourage donations to support kids who wish to attend Camp True Colors. It's a fantastic opportunity to learn more about our camp programs for kids and families, as our staff will be on-site to answer your questions.
Are you in between the ages of 4-17? Do you have a comedy routine, dance, song, or special talent you want to showcase to your friends, family, and potential future camp counselors? One Heartland is hosting a free open-mic and summer staff-driven Q&A panel for interested participants!
This spring open mic variety show is hosted by One Heartland, a nonprofit summer camp focused on giving kids facing social isolation a space for them to be a kid and flourish. Participants ages 4-17 may perform for friends, family, and all who are willing! This is a free event encouraging donations to help fund camper scholarships for our LGBTQIA+ focused session Camp True Colors sessions. MC'd by One Heartland’s Camp Director and Assistant Camp Director, Ty and Lou, along with the help of summer leadership staff and counselors, One Heartland wants to see what you got! Props, costumes, and backing tracks are highly encouraged. Following the performance will be a open Q&A panel with members of the One Heartland team to answer questions about camp, programing, the organization, and more!
This event is FREE. Doors open at 10AM.
