03/11 OCE's World Music Night featuring special guests Willow Brae
Tickets are $15 in Advance / $20 at the Door.
Doors open at 7pm. Online ticket sales end at 5:30pm.
Seats are first come, first served.
A transportive double-bill from the Mediterranean to the Highlands. Join us for an evening of expansive sounds and deep history as two of the Twin Cities’ most celebrated traditional ensembles share the stage.
OCE traces the musical fusion of the Northern Mediterranean, performing everything from Spanish Sephardic melodies to Greek and Turkish traditional music. Using authentic instruments, they weave together original compositions and ancient history dating back to 711 A.D.
Willow Brae (Andrea Stern and Laura MacKenzie) brings the "wondrous spectrum" of the Irish and Scottish countrysides to life. Expect a dazzling array of instrumentation, including Celtic harps, wooden flutes, whistles, concertina, and bagpipes, moving seamlessly from haunting airs to high-energy dance tunes.
Our full restaurant and bar service is available in the theater! Order from your seat and enjoy the show, we'll take care of the rest.
We recommend arriving early to grab a drink and find your spot; please keep in mind that we stop seating 30 minutes after the show starts.
